Patrick Mahomes’ Dad’s Strong Message for Chiefs QB After Issuing Clear Tom Brady Ultimatum

The Kansas City Chiefs are just one win away from making history. Yes! We might be witnessing a historic 3-peat on Sunday, February 9 in New Orleans. And if this happens, as Patrick Mahomes quipped, he will “be the greatest Patrick Mahomes that I can be.” Even if he fails to do so, does his greatness decline? At the risk of stating the obvious, the answer to this is probably no. Why? It’s because the quarterback has already registered three Super Bowl wins in five years—a feat that arguably describes him as a great QB. However, he has a long way to go. That’s why, the 29-year-old’s father is giving him fatherly advice.

Patrick Mahomes’s father, Pat Mahomes Sr. appeared for a quick interview on Friday with TMZ. When asked what advice he would give to the quarterback heading into Sunday’s combat with the Philadelphia Eagles, the former MLB player said three words, “Players make plays.”

Not only that! Patrick Mahomes Sr. also gave respect to Tom Brady’s career. However, he acknowledged, “Well, much respect to Tom Brady and everything. Patrick is still on his journey, hopefully he has a long way to go. And then once he’s done playing, we’ll see where it ends up at (in his career).”
